This book is a great book. It is about a very poor boy named Charlie. He lives in a wooden house and in his family there are 4 people, his uncle, his aunt, his dad and his mom. The only one who has a job is his dad, he works at a toothpaste factory. One day Charlie is going to the store and he reads in the newspaper that there is going to be a contest. The contest is for the whole world and it is for Wonka chocolate and there are 5 winners. If you find a gold ticket in your chocolate bar you get to go to the Wonka factory for a whole day. Charlie finds a 1 dollar bill in the snow and goes to the store to see if he got a golden ticket. He opens the chocolate bar and all he sees is pure gold. The cashier tells him to run to his house and not to stop till he gets there. So he did. People try to bribe him but he doesn't take the offers.

I loved this book. I saw this in the movie too, and it was very interesting! I recommend it to other people who didn't read this book.
