This story is about a chocolate factory.Under the chocolate paper wrapping there were five golden tickets. The one who got one of it would meet Willy Wonka and go to the enormous and great factory. Charlie wanted to get that golden ticket. Will Charlie get it? I enjoyed the book because it has a lot of suspense especially the part when only one golden ticket is missing to appear and you are willing Charlie to get it. My favourite part is when George’s grandfather dances because he doesn’t dance well. . I recommend this story to the ones who love eating chocolates or sweets. It is appropriate for children of nine or twelve years old.

The main character in this story, Charlie Bucket, really wants to find the Golden Ticket. The problem is that because his family was so poor that Charlie only got one Wonka bar each year. That one time was his birthday. The first four lucky finders were either greedy, annoying, rude or spoiled. People all over the world are looking for the last Ticket. At the end Willy Wonka will chose one of the five children and him or her a special prize. Will Charlie be able to win the Golden Ticket? I enjoyed this story because it’s full of suspense and twists and turns. I like the way Roald Dahl makes you want to keep on reading. This book is just right for people who like to read fantasy stories and people who like chocolate and candy. If you want to find out what happens next, read this incredible story!

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Author: Roald Dahl Reviewed by: Gonzalo.T (age 9) This funny story is about Charlie Bucket. He is a poor boy that likes Wonka Chocolates. And the famous Willy Wonka puts five Golden Tickets in the Chocolate. The winners are going to go to the famous Chocolate Factory. Charlie wants the Golden Ticket. Will his dreams come true? Is Charlie going to get the golden ticket? Read it and discover what happens!!! When I got the book I couldn't put it down because it was very interesting and the characters were very funny. I enjoyed this book because it made me laugh and because the illustrations by Quentin Blake were good. My favorite character was Veruca Salt. I liked when Veruca got the ticket. Her dad is rich and bought a lot of Wonka Chocolates for her. She was so excited. The songs the oompaloompas sang to the characters of the story were fun too. This is a part of a song of the oompaloompas for Veruca Salt Veruca Salt, the little brute, Has just gone down the rubbish chute And as we very rightly thought That in a case like this we ought To see the thing completely through, We've polished off her parents, too Down goes Veruca! Down the drain! I recommend this book to anyone that likes good lessons because the lesson of this book is: if you are good with others, good things happen to you.

good book and funny

This book is about a lucky but poor family. Charlie Bucket, Mr. and Mrs. Bucket, Grandpa Joe, Grandma Josephine, Grandpa George and Grandma Georgina. “Charlie dreamed of eating something other that bread, potatoes or cabbage... Most of all he dreamed of CHOCOLATE.” The fantastic creator of chocolate, Mr. Willy Wonka, was opening the gates of his enormous factory!!!!!!!!! and only 5 lucky children were going to enter there... only 5. To enter, you had to find 1 of the 5 golden tickets. The 1st golden ticket was found by: a fat boy called Augustus Gloop. The 2nd was found by: a pretty girl called Veruca Salt. The 3rd was found by: a girl that chews a lot of gum called Violet Beauregarde. The 4th was found by a boy that´s always watching TV who was called Mike Teavee. The last golden ticket was found by.............Do you know who found the last golden ticket? The factory opened the 1st of February at 10 o’clock. They went in. You can´t imagine what happened to the children in there... what a mess!!!!! This is a funny book. The illustrations were made by Quentin Blake and they were great because he illustrates what’s going in the story and you can understand the book better. My favourite part was when Veruca Salt disappeared in a very funny way and what happened to Violet, Mike and Augustus are all funny too. Do you want to know what what happened to the children? As you read this book you might wonder what's going to happen... well... Read it. Roald Dahl writes by exaggerating everything. He says that it is no good having ordinary people they do not interest the reader at all. If somebody is fat he makes them extremely fat. If somebody is short he makes them extremely short. If the person is bad or cruel or nasty he makes them very bad or very cruel or very nasty. He entertains the reader . Quentin Blake illustrates most of Roald Dahl´s books and I like the illustrations I recommend this book to children of 7 to 12 years old that like wonderful and long books. READ THIS BOOK!!!!!!
