The author of the book Michael Vey the Prisoner of Cell 25 by Richard Paul Evans is a science fiction book. The book (in my opinion) was a 10/10 would read again kind of book. It was just the right thing for me, it had plenty of action and it had lots of suspense. This is just the kind of book you would get if you wanted action and suspense. The first character introduced is Michael Vey, a bullied daily, short kid. He also only has one friend, Ostin, a chubby little Einstein. But their life changes when they meet Taylor, a popular cheerleader. You're probably wondering, “how did everything change for them??” Well, Michael has an electricity power, as seen on the cover of the book. (And told at the beginning too.) when Michael meets Taylor, it's when he was being bullied and getting dog piled. When he had enough of it, he shocked the three of the bullies. But what he didn't know, was that Taylor saw it all. Then, Taylor runs back inside the school, and the chapter ends there. Later on, when Michael and Taylor are friends, he find out that Taylor can “reboot” people. (Reboot as in, restarting your computer.) then, when Taylor tries to look up her birth documents, (because they were lost and she was adopted.) the Elgen academy finds her. Michael and Ostin don't know this at first but when they do find out, they get even more worried because Michael's mom was kidnapped on his birthday party by Elgen academy, and now, Taylor was gone. If you’re still not interested, this book is just as good as the Percy Jackson series! It would be a perfect match for anyone that likes that series! In conclusion, the book, Michael Vey, The Prisoner of Cell 25 is a great book for people that like action and lots of suspense.

Insurgent is a amazing, interesting, and mysterious book all rolled into one. So let's review it. The genre of the book Insurgent By Veronica Roth is science fiction more specifically dystopian. I personally really like this book although it is not as good as its predecessor Divergent, it is still a great book I would rate it a 8/10. The book Insurgent starts out right where Divergent left of Tris and Tobias tour around the different factions, constantly trying to escape the evil hands of Erudite. But the Erudite use their simulation powers to their advantage and make it so that a Divergent must turn himself in or else those under the influence of the simulation will kill themselves. Tris goes behind Tobias’s back and turns herself in, and is experimented on at Erudite to help them find a simulation that will work on Divergent. She eventually escapes (along with Tobias) with the help of Peter, because he felt he owe her one. But if I tell you any more I might spoil the book for you so now I will stop. The setting of this who story is in a dystopian Chicago, Illinois. Comparing the book yo the movie I liked the book better but I have to admit the movie did a great job of staying true to the story. I also recommend this book to anyone no matter what gender and what age, just to keep in mind their are some Lovey dovey parts so you have been warned. Books can tell us things about the world around us. This is the case in the science-fiction novel the Rule of Thought by James Dashner. This book is the sequel to The Eye of Minds and if you have not read that book this book won’t make sense. The Rule of Thought is a great follow-up to the Eye of Minds. This book can make you really think about the decisions that the characters make. The rule of thought is a tremendous book I would rate it a five out of five. The book starts off with Michael discovering that he is human and what Kaine did to him. Michael realizes that he has taken on the life of Jackson Porter. Michael feels very guilty about stealing Jackson's life but he realizes that it wasn't his choice. Later, some of Kaines workers try to bring in Michael but Michael escapes and realizes that he needs to disappear if he wants to protect himself from Kaine. Michael erases Jackson Porters identity and creates a new fake identity. This was a hard decision for Michael because he felt guilty for taking over Jackson Porter's life and then erasing him from existence. Also, Michael realizes that he needs to find Sarah and Bryson so that the three of them can figure out what to do about Kaine. First Michael find Sarah and when he does it doesn't not go as smoothly as expected. Sarah and Michael have never met before in person because before Michael was turned into a human he was a tangent. Additionally, Sarah's parents were a little suspicious of Michael because they thought he may have been working for Kaine. Eventually, Sarah and Michael go into the Virtnet to try and find Bryson. It takes them a little while but eventually they contact Bryson and set up a rendezvous. When the three of them get together they think that they should lay low for awhile but eventually realize that that is not going to get anything done. They know that they need to contact the VNS to help them take down Kaine. The three friends take a bus to Atlanta where the VNS headquarters is located. This was another time in the book where the characters faced a tough decision. The characters had the choice to stay out of the problem or to step up to stop Kaine. From there they go to break into the VNS headquarters and realize that no one is there eventually they are found inside the headquarters by agent Weber. Agent Weber briefs them on the situation and explains to them the VNS plan of attack. Agent Weber explains to them that they need to find Kaine’s central programming and since Kaine is a tangent if they destroy his central programming then it will destroy him as well. Will Michael, Bryson and Sarah be up to the challenge or will Kaine have the upper hand you must read the Rule of Thought by James Dashner to find out. James Dashner has written lots of other great books including the Maze Runner Series. If you like science fiction and advanced technology then you would love the Rule of Thought by James Dashner.

Aliens invade Earth… check, post­apocalyptic…check, and awesome story... check. The fantastic book that I am reviewing today is The 5th Wave By:Rick Yancey. Right of the bat I would like to tell you that this book is truly spectacular and just pure awesome, out of 10 I would give this book a 9.5.The 5th Wave tells the story of a post­apocalyptic world brought on by alien invasion. A high school girl named Cassie has to try to save her brother and somehow survive in a world where aliens police the skies with large killer robots. Due to the waves about 1% of the population is left. The problem is that people get taken to a secret military that may or may not actually be the alien’s HQ in disguise. Now let's talk about the main characters, even though Cassie is the narrator Ben Ross and Laurie Sanders are the major characters and the protagonists. I really liked this book for its fast paced writing it did not take long at all to get to the action. This book takes place in the future which makes sense for its dystopian genre and post­apocalyptic story. Also, it takes place mostly in a high school. I have not seen the movie so i can't compare or contrast those two. Also, I have never read a different Rick Yancey book so I do not know how he writes. Based on the Fifth Wave I can tell that the Infinite Sea and the third book will be similar. Action packed, fun, and interesting. I would recommend this book to both boys and girls and someone who loves the dystopian genre. All in all this was a superb book and I LOVED it!

Attention: All readers. If you haven't read Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Sea of  Monsters, by Rick Riordan what are you doing? Go read it! If you've already read it, good for  you. Now read it again. This book is more than you regular fantasy novel. Sure, it had monsters,  a Titan rising from the dead, and magical vitamins. But this book separated itself from other  fantasy novels. Most of the fantasy novels I read don't really tie down to reality. This is much  different.The Percy Jackson books are centered around a fantastical thought, however they all  have elements of realistic fiction. It's like combining your favorite realistic fiction novel, with a  bunch of Greek gods. I would give this book a 10/10. It was so amazing. My favorite part about  it was Percy’s relationships with all the villains. His attitude and jokes towards Luke really just  made me laugh. The book is basically about Percy, a middle schooler who happens to be a  demigod. After an accident in school, he flees to camp half blood. But they are under new  management, which causes things to be difficult for him. Percy and Annabeth evacuate, on a  quest to find Grover, and to get the Golden Fleece to heal Thalia's tree. You will enjoy this book  if you have read Harry Potter, or have a thirst for comedy and fantasy. However, I don't  recommend watching the movie. I felt the movie wasn't up to par with the book. Percy looked 18  not 13, and as did Annabeth.

The captivating classic, Black Beauty, by Anna Sewell, was the very first book ever written from a horse’s perspective. Created in the 1800 hundred’s, Black Beauty is still being read and cherished centuries beyond. The genre is realistic fiction, classic literature, and historical fiction (if you were to be reading it far past the day it was written). With clear writing and lots of action, Black Beauty is nothing under a 10/10. He was born as “Darkie”, on a small farm in England, in the country. After maturing, he received the name Black Beauty. His mother taught him how to please an owner and carry class. She never told him much about her, so later on, he regretted not knowing her well enough. For example, the book says that “...old Duchess was the mother of them both.” That meant that the horse killed in a hunting accident was a secret brother to Black Beauty and that Duchess kept it a secret from her son. Some of the main characters are Merrylegs, Ginger, and Duchess. Merrylegs is described the most as a “...grey horse with a thick body, and a favorite of the family.” Merrylegs is a very special character and influence to Black Beauty because when he losses his mom, he teaches him important life lessons. The whole structure if Black Beauty is a life that faces the hardest times, but keeps preserving to find his way back home. Also, a similar story from an animal's perspective is a Dog’s Purpose. That book is about a dog’s life journey and why the way he is. The type of person interested in this book would be someone with a passion for animals and a taste in adventure. This a very good book that doesn't just have words written of two hundred and something pages. It has meaning.

This book review will state everything you need to know about this book in order to decide if you want to read it. The Adoration of Jenna Fox by Mary E. Pearson is one of the most unique books I have ever read. This book is amazing, it's nothing like I have ever read before. I would give it five stars! I think this book is so unique because of the story behind it. The characters are one of a kind, especially Jenna, you never really figure her out in this book she's always a mystery. The setting is different too, from the start you can tell something's different about this book. In the book it shows that Jenna doesn't really know what's going on. Her parents have given her all these home videos but she still doesn't remember anything from before the terrible car accident she was in. There is a lot of thinking in this book but, even with that you never know what's going to happen next.As far as I know there really isn't anything like this book around, it is a one of a kind. Although there are two more books in this series. This book is really truly amazing, it just drags you in and you can't stop until you've read the whole book. This is definitely more of a girly book, but not completely. It's more for people who like novels set in the future, kind of like dystopian books.This is the first book in the series the two books after it are The Fox Inheritance and Fox Forever.

STOP! THIS IS A LIFE OR DEATH EMERGENCY! PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE! Okay, now that I have your attention and you know this is serious business, I just read a spectacular book that blew my mind! Interested now? I thought so! Out of the Dust by Karen Hesse is one of the most deep and thought out books I've ever read; very emotional. This book is not a regular for most people, it wasn't my first choice either. It's genre is historical fiction. Believe it or not my little brother recommended it to me and I'd have to give it five stars! I really enjoyed this book and can gladly see myself and other readers looking to read more books like it and/or by the same author. This book is based on a true story. Hesse writes Out of the Dust in first person, allowing Billie Jo Kelby, the protagonist, or main character, to describe her life from the winter of 1934 thought the fall of 1935. Billie Jo describes her desolate internal and external landscape with a searing, brutal honesty. She narrates, in unfolding glimpses of story, a tale of death, destruction, dust, and the search for redemption. This incredible book is very much related to Come on Rain, by Karen Hasse! Karen Hasse didn't actually write Out of the Dust until three years after her trip to Colorado, when she'd already started writing Come on Rain. I'd recommend this book to girls and boys, anyone interested in historic fiction! To conclude, if you haven't already done so, read Out of the Dust by Karen Hesse, you won't regret it!
