love the greek gods, cant wait to finish this one

This is my book reweiw of Alice and wonderland Lewis Carroll. Alice and wonderlands setting is in the 1800s in England, and alice falls Into hole by the rabbit who lured her into wonderland and she dreamed about wonderland and all the characters. And she has get out of wonderland. And hatter kinda gives Alice riddles for her to solve as she goes on her journey. And Cheshire cat is the only cat that listen to Alice and the cat was the queens. And the queen wants Alice to be executed because Alice made a insult about her. But Alice manages to escape out of the queens castle. The protagonist is Alice and the antagonist is the queen. Alice got out of wonderland. What I liked about the book was the adventure and the story line.

When Humphrey, a hamster, is picked to be one of the school's class's pet, HUmphrey meets new kids and has many adventures. Humphrey also helps the kids with their problems! From being too loud or trying to be too helpful, Humphrey can solve them all! I would recommend this fro ages 8+ Super cute book and so enjoyable!! Great for relaxation if you're too old and detailed well. I love the author's writing style! Hope you read this because this is a must read for 3rd grade!

I loved this whole series, lots of adventure, and a whole different perspective of life! What is owls really were more sophisticated then we thought?

These books are amazing! It does have some violence, but it really does express the meaning of the book(s). I highly recommend these books. Summary: An owlet named Soren is pushed from his nest and is captured by a St. Aggies. He escapes with his friend Gylfie; and they head for a place called the Great Ga'hoole Tree, and meet friends along the way. The gang later runs into The Pure Ones. These evil owls belive they are considered "pure". Can Soren and his friends stop them from conquering the entire owl kindom(s) and ruling them? Read the indescribable series to find out!

Iron Hearted Violet is an extremely creative and well-written fantasy about a princess who isn't beautiful (in fact, rather ugly), isn't dainty, and most assuredly isn't weak. Her kingdom loves her, especially her mother, father, her best friend Demetrius and the castle's storyteller, Cassian. Her name is Violet. Violet and Demetrius constantly wander the castle, exploring its secrets. Anything they find is relatively normal (well, as normal as things can be in a magical castle) until they stumble upon the secret of an evil god, known as the Nybbas. From then on, a series of events take place that send the kingdom towards its doom -- into the waiting hands of the Nybbas. With the help of a dragon, a runty god, three "miniature people" and the somewhat unwilling storyteller Cassian, Violet and Demetrius must stop the Nybbas and save their world from utter destruction. I loved this book so much! It is possibly the most unpredictable book I have ever read, and it literally defies every fairytale cliche. After reading the whole thing, I was thoroughly convinced that it is in my top five favorite books. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good adventure, and an unusual one at that. Get ready to expect the unexpected!

I loved this book! It is my favorite in the series so far! Sophie needs to learn to fight, because she knows that her abilities can be avoided by the Neverseen. But afetr Alvar's tribunal, Sophie and Fitz suffer series damage from shadows. Illusion is the villains new weapon. Because of her injuries, she can't fight, but she can train with Fitz, that is, when he's conscious again. Fitz was attacked on the Heart, unlike Sophie , who was attacked on her arm and forehead. Things are changing quickly. Silveny is pregnant,Sophie needs to heal with Fitz, they need to figure out how to stop the shawdows, make them go away, and control them to use for themselves. Most importantly, they need to stop the Neverseeen. Tam is one hope. He's a shade, and he is very good at taking control at the shadow-flux. He's scared though, and that makes it harder. The Neverseen have revealed that they will attack when the newborn trolls hatch. That's a bad idea. The trolls are most dangerous when they hatch first. Sophie starts to train a bit to late, and she can only throw with her left arm, her bad arm. How will they stop the Neverseen if they aren't ready?

One of my friends read this book and they told me to read and it was so good you should read.

I have never before read a David Baldacci novel. I know he's incredibly popular (that all his books are on the bestseller lists) but that's not enough reason for me to read a novel. That said, hearing the premise for his first venture into Young Adult fiction was enough reason for me to buy this book. This is a young adult fantasy novel set in one town in the middle of nowhere, a town surrounded by a wild land called the Quag, which it is forbidden to set foot into because of the creatures that live out there. The heroine of the story is Vega Jane and she's a boundary pushing individual who gradually comes to discover the secrets and abilities linked to her bloodline. The ideas of this book are excellent, I loved the grand world-building in every way. I also loved the protagonist, who was a realistic female character trying to make sense of her world. However, I felt there was room to play with some of the themes and ideas a little more. For instance this was another novel that talked about the fears of humans (though these individuals were Wugmorts and not necessarily human they acted as human) and the ways in which we allow walls to be built to protect us from the outside. Walls, which, in reality, keep us trapped inside. It's a theme which is particularly post-9/11 and from an era that includes the war on terror and the rise of social media, yet it is a universally applicable theme that could have been tapped into further. I also did not like the staccato nature of the writing in sections, which felt as if it 'told' the reader too much rather than 'suggested' or 'showed'. In other words, the writing was more or less predictable. All in all there is plenty of untapped potential in this novel and it feels as if there may be a sequel in the works. Though I have not heard anything about this as such. That said I would be interested to read the sequel. Can I recommend this novel then? Well as much as I recommend the average young adult novel: for enjoyment's sake rather than for a deep philosophical venture. If you want something deeper and more well-rounded there are other young adult novels I could point you to.

It is a good book. Jack and Annie went on a trip to the moon and I wish I could go with them! And I wish I could go to the moon base with Jack and Annie. I would ask the author, who is the moon man? I would also like to know, where is Jack and Annie's parents. They weren't mentioned in this story. I loved Peanut the mouse aka Morgan, I thought she was so cute! This was the best book in the world! Book review by class 2-205
