This is an awesome book. Similar to the Divergent and Hunger Games trilogies, it offers great suspense. you should read this if you like Hunger games or Divergent.

The Maze Runner by James Dashner is about a boy named Thomas that he is trapted in a maze with a bunch of teenagers. Every day, Thomas and Minho go to the maze to find a way out, but they have to make it back by nightfall the greavers come.
The best book in the world a one of a kind! I can't think of a better way to describe it, There is a group of boys stuck inside this maze every night the doors close and the greivers (greivers: horrible monsters that live in the maze!) but one month a girl arrives thats when the mayhem starts! - lambsreviews

Um, Xanthe, I'm not sure if you read the movie and the book, you probably have, but dude, The Maze Runner is a trilogy. There are three books
*SPOILERS* Newt dies, so does Teresa. The Maze Runner series gets progressively worse, as does any other trilogy, such as Divergent, The Hunger Games, The Selection, just to name a few. I'm not saying every single trilogy will die out, The Infernal Devices trilogy absolutely didn't. The Maze Runner was fabulous, one of my favourite [yes, I'm Australian] books, The Scorch Trials was okay, it wasn't too bad but it wasn't good. Then, The Death Cure, as expected there were a lot of deaths, [Allegiant, you went too far] and that was fine, but there wasn't that spark anymore. In the last book, the burning flame that was present in the first book was just reduced to dull embers. The Kill Order, which is a prequel to the whole TMR series, was a complete let down. It was honestly so boring, to me of course, a lot of people say that TKO was the best of James Dashner, but I obviously disagree. My friend couldn't get past chapter 21 whereas I couldn't get past even the first chapter. But wait, there's more, a sequel to the prequel! I think it's coming out late next year, I'm not sure, Instagram rumours aren't always true. It's called The Fever Code and as you can see, James Dashner has a very interesting theme to his book titles. Also, Teresa's real name is Deedee. DEEDEE. Am I heavily disappointed? Yeah, you could say that.

Then suddenly, he sees a bunch of teens his age. “Welcome to the Glade.” The Glade, the middle of the maze, the center of activity out in wherever. Nobody knows what the place is. Some have been there for two years, and they haven’t got a clue. Every day runners go out into the maze that surrounds the Glade to look for a way out. Here’s the catch: the maze is filled with grievers, mechanical monsters with spikes and deadly surgical equipment arms. When the elevator comes up with a girl, everything starts to change. In an action-packed intriguing novel, James Dashner creates realistic characters and a setting that you can visualize. Full of suspense, twists and turns, The Maze Runner is a perfect book for fans of dystopians and puzzles. My thoughts: I went into this thinking that it would be like the third task from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire but in the form of a whole book. I can tell you that I was wrong. I was blown away by the story, such a unique idea that is played out seamlessly. It is completely different from the third task and, man, this book was so full of surprises and craziness I loved it so much. This was one of my favorite reads of the year and I can not WAIT to read the following books.
