Book one in the blockbuster Maze Runner series that spawned a movie franchise and ushered in a worldwide phenomenon! And don’t miss The Fever Code, the highly-anticipated series conclusion that finally reveals the story of how the maze was built!

When Thomas wakes up in the lift, the only thing he can remember is his name. He’s surrounded by strangers—boys whose memories are also gone.
Outside the towering stone walls that surround them is a limitless, ever-changing maze. It’s the only way out—and no one’s ever made it through alive.
Then a girl arrives. The first girl ever. And the message she delivers is terrifying: Remember. Survive. Run.

The Maze Runner and Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials are now major motion pictures featuring the star of MTV's Teen Wolf, Dylan O’Brien; Kaya Scodelario; Aml Ameen; Will Poulter; and Thomas Brodie-Sangster. The third movie, Maze Runner: The Death Cure, will hit screens in 2018.

I love this book! It was so action packed!

I really enjoyed reading The Maze Runner. The story was very action-packed, and reading it felt even more exciting than watching the movie. I was very engaged in the story once I started reading because the author, James Dashner, had included so much mystery throughout his story that I could not wait to find out the truth. A very entertaining part of the story I found was the unique vocabularies the Gladers invented themselves, such as “klunk” and “shank”. I thought Dashner had done a great job describing the physical and emotional feelings of the characters during different scenes since he was writing in the third–person point of view. Lots of times, the descriptions the author used made me felt like I was in the same situation as the Gladers. I especially loved the part of the story where Thomas led the Gladers successfully out of the Maze, and was rescued by people. I could not wait to read the second edition of The Maze Runner series, The Scorch Trials, and I would definitely recommend this book to my friends and family members who love reading science fiction novels.

I love this book. It has a lot of adventure in it. I haven't seen the movie but I bet its an awesome movie if you ask me. I could connect to all of the characters and the writing was well done. I can't wait to read the second book. I recommend this book to anyone out there that loves adventure
