Maze Runner, by James Dasher, is the best book I've read during winter vacation. The story begins where Thomas awakens in an underground elevator and has forgotten everything except his name. He arrives at a small society called the Glades where teenage boys each contribute there and a group called the Runners try to solve the maze. I love how this book is very mysterious, exciting, and full of action, but also somewhat realistic and you can understand how each character feels, especially Thomas. One of my favorite scenes is where Thomas runs out the walls to help Minho and Alby even though he knew he'd get killed by the Grievers. Unlike all the other Gladers that screamed and were frightened about Minho and Alby's situation, Thomas was courageous and risked his life to help them. Not only that, but when Minho abandoned them and ran for his life, Thomas helped Alby to escape from the Grievers. If you like a book with action, violence and mysteries, you should definitely read this book, especially to Hunger Games and Divergent fans!

This was a really good book. It has a lot of action and adventure, but there's also mystery and tragedy mixed in too.

i have never read it, but ut seems like a good book. Is it worth my trime to read it?

I love this book it's amazing!!!!

unknown unknown

this book is awesome and exiting you have to read it PS i am in 4 grade so i think it should be 4th and up

This book is amazing and if you haven't read it yet i really think you should!!!

This book is about a group of young boys trapped in a maze and hasn't figured out how to escape for 3 years. There is a box that comes up to the maze and gives them food ,supplies and a new person. Thomas is the main character, he has a special personality because he's really curious. The maze has isn't only just hard to escape, but it also has these creatures that is really dangerous because when you get sting you remember the past and you die slowly. They didn't have a cure for it until a girl came called Teresa and in her hand theres a it say " she's last one ever". So they can survive without the box so Tomas helps them find a way.

I looks so good I watched half of the movie it looks really good from what I can see but sometimes the movies are a lot diffrent from the books.

This book is really amazing. It's the first book of the Maze runner trilogy. The story started from Thomas waking up in a place that he have absolutely no idea where he is. He can't remember anything before waking up in the maze same as others that is already in the maze. All the main characters are like teenagers just like us, but their live is in a total different situation. They are all trying to escape the maze. This book is very mysterious and involve a lot of actions in it. They faced a lot of dangerous situations in the maze, but Thomas can remain calm and actually thinking a way of trying to solve the problem unlike other gladers are just screaming and blaming that all this happened is because of Thomas. I really like the description of the book and the main character's emotions skipping between the struggle of doing it or not. Sometimes reading this book makes me feels a little bit sudden and sometimes get confused about the story plot but other than that, the book is amazing. I will strongly recommend this book to every teenager that enjoys other young adult stories such and hunger games and divergent.
