Jessie and Evan Treski have waged a lemonade war, sought justice in a class trial, unmasked a bell thief, and stood at opposite ends over the right to keep secrets.
Now they are creating a magic show—a professional magic show, in their own backyard! They practice, they study, and they practice some more. And who shows up? Their father, who has done such a good job of disappearing over the past few years.
Just as Evan and Jessie took on running a business in The Lemonade War and a court of law in The Lemonade Crime, in this fifth novel of the bestselling Lemonade War series, they take on the challenges of magic and illusion all while discovering some hidden truths about their own family. Another fresh, funny, emotionally charged novel by the author whom Books for Kids calls, "one of the best writers for the middle grades around."

i love the lemonade war books! i can't wait untill i can read it!
i have read all of the lemonade series books i liked them alot
I've read all the books in the Lemonade Series and LOVE all of them! I like the Lemonade War a little more, but I think that the new book in the series, The Magic Trap, is REALLY good. I liked it because in the other four books you only hear and hardly see the Treski's dad but in this book he is there almost the whole time, and it is interesting how different Jessie and Evan are around him. In this book, Evan is practicing magic tricks. Their mom needs to go on a trip, and their dad stays with them. He suggests Evan throw a magic show. All is well, and Jessie and Evan are just warming up to their dad when disaster strikes and some unexpected things happen bringing the magic show to their last priority and family first. It seems predictable in the middle, but you'll never guess what happens in the end. I hope everyone will enjoy this book as much as I did!
Jess Treski and Evan Treski, brother and sister, have gone through a lot together, and they'll definitely have to stick together in their next adventure. the magic trap does not disappoint! their father is a reporter, making him travel to many different places. occasionally, he shows up and stays for a while, but never so long. their father randomly shows up right before their mom is about to cancel a business trip, and jess and evan are trapped in a long, exciting ride! the magic trap includes a storm, a magic show, obviously, and a rabbit! I didn't really like this book because it's meant for younger readers, but it was still pretty good! it's not very intriguing, but it was original.
Jess Treski a hyper-active, smart person who loves to be right on all things. Evan Treski an quiet boy who loves magic. The duo soon get a suprise when there father who is never around do to work out of the blue shows up. THe kids haven't seen there father in a long time, but Jess is really excited to see her father, Evan not so much. While there father is here the Treski kids get even more wilder and little did they know a storm is brewing. I loved this book even when I didn't read the rest of the series.
I love this book a lot and I can't put it down.
