For a full hour, he poured lemonade. The world is a thirsty place, he thought as he nearly emptied his fourth pitcher of the day. And I am the Lemonade King.

Fourth-grader Evan Treski is people-smart. He’s good at talking with people, even grownups. His younger sister, Jessie, on the other hand, is math-smart, but not especially good with people. So when the siblings’ lemonade stand war begins, there really is no telling who will win—or even if their fight will ever end. Brimming with savvy marketing tips for making money at any business, definitions of business terms, charts, diagrams, and even math problems, this fresh, funny, emotionally charged novel subtly explores how arguments can escalate beyond anyone’s intent.

it is a great book for the family! do you think emma12?

This book is great ! It is about a brother and sister who fight about stuff. I recommend it to mystery lovers and realistic fiction lovers! I love it I hope you will to.

This book is so good. It's a series, so there's other ones after it. It's about 2 siblings, Jessie and Evan. Jessie is going to be in the same class as Evan even though Evan is older than her. Evan is mad about it. They end up betting each other who can earn more money in a lemonade stand. Winner takes all the money. It's a great book.

I like it. My favroite thing is that the author catches the real heat from 2 siblings. Also that it tells the story from both people.

This book really catches how important family is and how to stay close with your siblings and not to fight. Me and my sister use to fight but after reading this book I think it kinda made us chill a little. I recommend it to people who fight with there siblings or just like a good book.

The Lemonade War is about a brother and sister trying to earn the most money before summer ends. They made a bet on who ever has the most money by the end of the summer gets the other persons money.

The lemonade war is an amazing book about the every day life of two siblings. Evan is mad at his sister because he doesn't want his sister to skip a grade and be in his class. So, naturally when Evan's sister and a couple of her friends start a lemonade stand, they start a lemonade war. Evan and his sister continue to go through the ups and downs of their friendship of siblings in this amazing book. I recommend this book to readers who enjoy fun reads.
