For a full hour, he poured lemonade. The world is a thirsty place, he thought as he nearly emptied his fourth pitcher of the day. And I am the Lemonade King.

Fourth-grader Evan Treski is people-smart. He’s good at talking with people, even grownups. His younger sister, Jessie, on the other hand, is math-smart, but not especially good with people. So when the siblings’ lemonade stand war begins, there really is no telling who will win—or even if their fight will ever end. Brimming with savvy marketing tips for making money at any business, definitions of business terms, charts, diagrams, and even math problems, this fresh, funny, emotionally charged novel subtly explores how arguments can escalate beyond anyone’s intent.

it was a good book but not the greatest it was short and i like how told you the rules of the house the details were not that good but i recommend it.

Meet siblings Evan and Jessie! Everything was all okay, after all Evan will be going to fourth grade, while Jessie will be going to third grade... but everything changed after they found out Jessie will be in the same class as Evan in the beginning of the school year... Then BAM! Their relationship began to change.... Evan and Jessie had a compatible relationship but what changed was their friendship. Evan began to avoid Jessie, while Jessie is wondering what she had done... you see Jessie is better at studies while not understanding the concepts of emotions because she is still young... while Evan is the opposite... which leads them into.... DRUMROLLS PLEASE!!!! A lemonade war!!!!! Whoever collets the most money from the lemonade war wins? Ready, set go! Who will win? Will Evan and Jessie's relationship still be broken, or will they fix it? Well, read and find out!

My favorite part of the book is this,Jessica asked Evan to play with her.No, he would always say to her. Then she made a bet.We try to get 100 dollars by only selling lemonade. whoever wins, gets a prize.

This book was a pretty easy book for me so I read it kinda quickly, but I think it was decent book. This book is about 2 kids who are having a "war" to see who can get the most money selling lemonade. It is a realistic fiction book and I think it is a great book for 3rd to 4th graders.

We all know siblings get into competitions with each other. But when Evan and Jessie Treski want to get more money and both decide on selling lemonade, they don't start a competition, they start a war. They both get their friends to help, but sabotage each others lemonade stands. Their mom notices the big tension between them, and stops it all before their 4th of July night is ruined. They finally settle their differences, combine forces, and get popular in their hometown newspaper!

This book is a clever blend of humor and math. It' an amazing book that capturs the specail one-of-a kind bond between a brother and sister! Read and relate to the specail bond of of a brother and sister with the perfect blend of humor and math.

so far its good. quite suspenseful. can't wait to see what will happen next. I cheering for Jessie to win. hope i can finish it soon it is really good so far. great book.
