The Son Of Neptune was a great book. It is for ages 7 and 1/2 and up. It is full of greek and roman stuff. This book is fantasy but is awesome. It is about when Percy wakes up from a long sleep and does not remember anything exept one name: Anebeth. He goes to a roman camp where he learns there ways. Next he goes on a quest with his new friends Hasel (who is supposed to be dead), and franks who's life relies on a piece of wood. It is up to them to save god death so monsters can die again. My favorite, funniest part was when Frank learned he was a descendent from poisden and percy said"that make you my great great great" Then franks cut him off. Also when Percy introdoosed Tyson his brother to frank who giant a Cyclops hug. Be sure to read the Percy Jackson and the Olympion series and the first Heros of Olympos book before this one. I give this book 5 out of 5 stars. You should really read this book! Hope you like it!
It expresses and trains your imagination.
Anyone who is a Jason Grace fan can wait, because here comes PERCY JACKSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Percy appears in a Roman camp without any memories except Annabeth. You will meet Hazel, daughter of Pluto (Hades' Roman form) and Frank who is a son of Mars (Ares' Roman form). They go on a mission to save the death god Thantos.
When I saw that Percy was in this book, I was ecstatic. I had to borrow the book from a friend because I couldn't wait to buy it. This book takes place a few months after the events of the Lost Hero. Here, we are introduced to a Percy with amnesia, and a few demigods that are key to the events of later books. I overall enjoyed this installment, but was frustrated at the same time, because there were many things the main characters did not know, that I did. They had questions I had the answer to. The didn't know about key events that had happened in the previous book. I guess this was the author's intention, to get us hooked to the book, and to keep reading to see if the characters found the answers they needed. This book promises a lot, ad the promise is fulfilled in later books.
it is so awesome because i loved it so i think everyone else will
This book just blow my mind. One second Percy is talking to someone next he's fighting a beast. It was action-packed. Rick Riordan was pure genius to make this book.
I thought the series just gets grimmer in every book.
I enjoyed this book a lot because of how much action and suspense it had. I also liked the characters and their stories. That's why I am reading it again for the second time. I would definitely recommend this book for others in need.
I suggest that you read the whole series. They are a lot of AR points and they helped me get about 200 AR points in a month! Good for 4th graders and up.
