Everyone from Napoleon to Houdini is related to the Cahills, yet the source of the family power is lost. 39 Clues hidden around the world will reveal the family's secret, but no one has been able to assemble them. This book was quite good. I don't usually enjoy mystery, but this is great. My only problem with this series is that I dislike some of the author styles, since each book is written by a different author. However, the plot lines are interesting and well thought out, and the general idea stays the same. If you like mystery, this book is good for you.

This is a really good book! It has a lot of action! If you are looking for a fast paced and action packed read this book is for you!

I really liked the book. It was pretty exiting how they had to find clues. The other books in the series are also very good books. Although I liked the other books that Rick Riordan wrote better, The 39 Clues were still ok.

loved this series you can start on any book and you won't be confused and it is also kind off a mystery book and a page turner.

This book was pretty good. I love mystery books and this was a really good mystery book. But I have to admit, the books that come later in the series were a bit more enjoyable.

I thought I would like this book because I like mystery books but this book was too long and boring. The story was confusing and did not get more interesting. I read most of it but did not want to finish.

This book was not the best. My sister had me listen to it with her.Rick Riordan is good at writing for most people but to me I just am not a fan. But I really think that other people would love this book, like my sister

This book was pretty boring and I did not want to finish it. I was hoping it would get better but it did not. The story was pretty complicated and it was not my kind of book. I am not going to read anymore of the books in the series.

This book was really confusing unlike other books by this author it is ok but I don't { personally like it] as other books I read.

This book was amazing! This book is about Amy and Dan Cahill. They live with Aunt Beatrice. When their rich grandmother,Grace Cahill, dies, they go to her funeral. Everyone has an option, They get 1 million dollars or the first clue of the 39 clues. Amy and Dan choose to get the first clue. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone!
