The 39 Clues is a very interesting book. It never gets dull and, although it is rather short, it is a definite page-turner. here's the deal with this book: Two kids are growing up in a home they don't like. But at a family funeral they discover that their family tree holds many secrets. So, alongside their nanny, the children break the law and compete with other family members in order to find a wonderful treasure. I personally enjoyed this book a lot, and found the next few books in the series. The Downsides: - All of the books are by different authors so they are hard to locate in a library. - There are many sub-series so it's hard to tell which books to read in which order. - You have to read the books in order so that you can understand the plot. - They are very short and brief, so might not be worth it to BUY.

I love this book. It's like a cool mix of a mystery and action-adventure story. it's so cool and strange when the grandma dies and gives every one a challenge at her funeral. I defiantly recommend this book.
In this book there was a funeral and the Cahill family went there. There was a choice of getting $1,000,000 or getting a clue to find the most precious thing in the family. Then, there were two children who chose the clue and they worked together to find the other clues to the thing. Later, they teamed up with two relatives to find the thing and then one of the relatives betrayed them. The team was in tough situations, but they found a way to get out of the situation. In the end they found the thing in the last book.
Awesome book, there are lots more of this series and I read them all. The 39 Clues books are very exciting and fun to read!
The Maze of Bones is an exciting title, but the story itself disappointed me. The idea for the book was incredible, but the almost non-existent backstory, the lack of explanation for the almost constant action, and the failure to introduce the characters properly all result in a book I would only read if there were not any other books to read.
The Maze of Bones by Rick Riordan is a really good book. My teacher always had the 39 Clues series in her room, but I thought they wouldn't be good so I never read one. One day I could't find anything to read so I picked up the first book. It was so good I wanted to read the whole series!
Don't you just love a good scavenger hunt? This is the ultimate family one. Only instead of laughing and helping out the little kids with you aunts and uncles they are all out to get you. Why? Because they all want one thing: the grand prize. Dan and Amy give up a huge sum of money for the first clue. No one thinks they'll find the next clue. Little does anyone know (Dan and Amy included) that their no typical kids. They're Cahills.
This book is full of action and suspense. All of the 39 clues books are written by different authors, though. This series is great!! If you like suspense, action, darkness, and mystery, you should read this book. There are also cool puzzles! Pay attention to the bottom of the pages, because there is an interesting puzzle and message, (kind of like a secret code!!!)
This book is awesome! It is action packed. It reminds me of the movie national treasure. Love the mystery and puzzles of the book. I can't wait to read the next one.
My friend got me to read this. I didn't really want to at first but now I'm entriged. This is very interesting to me to see a whole family broken up fighting for power.
I agree!! I didn't think it would be good, but later I was intrigued!
