The moment they saw each other, Bean and Ivy knew they wouldn't be friends. But when Bean plays a joke on her sister, Nancy, and has to hide quick Ivy comes to the rescue, proving that sometimes the best of friends are people never meant to like each other. Vibrant characters and lots of humor make this a charming and addictive introduction to Ivy and Bean.

This book was about 2 girl's named Ivy and Bean. I thought that these two girls would not be friends just when they met because they where so different. They didn't like each other at first but surprisingly, the become not only friends but best friends! I have read many books in this series and they are not the same. But then I realized you don't have to be the same and do everything alike to become friend with someone. I looking forward to reading some more Ivy and Bean books.

Ivy and Bean are two people that dudn't like each other. Then something happens to change that and they become best friends. Read to find out what changed. I liked this book and want to read more in the series.

This book is about not judging people on their appearances. When Bean first saw Ivy she didn't want to me friends with her. So Bean is surprised when Ivy is more then willing to help scheme on bean's sister Nancy. This book was okay. I would recommend it though to a younger audience.

This book is great because Ivy and Bean become friends! It teaches that you should always try to be friends with someone. This is an awesome book!

This is a good book for anyone that teaches the values of friendship. It also teaches you to not judge a book by its cover. I enjoyed it a lot!

there were two little 9 year old's Ivy and Bean, and Beans Mom said ''go play with your new neighbour she seams nice.'' bean did not want to she did not like being nice. but then they met.......................................................................

Bean wanted nothing to do with Ivy until something happened. When Bean was hiding from her sister she decided she could prank Ivy. Ivy knew it was a prank and offered Bean a better place to hide from her sister. While hiding in Ivy's room Bean found out that Ivy liked many of the same things as her. Then Ivy became friends with Bean.

When Ivy moved in across the street Bean wanted nothing to do with her until something happened. Bean was pranking her sister and then decided she could also prank Ivy. Ivy knew it was Bean and offered Bean a place to hide from her sister. While hiding in Ivy's room Bean saw that Ivy liked many of the same things that Bean did. Then they became friends. I liked this book because it was interesting how Ivy and Bean became friends.

I just read this book and it was short and sweet! Ivy and Bean is the first book in a ten book series about two seven year olds who, in first book try tocast a spell on a very annoyi g big sister!very cute though probably for no older than third grade for the level, but if your older like me, you'll still enjoy it.

Ivy and Bean is about a girl named Bean who thinks Ivy is boring. Bean knows that "nice" means boring. This all changed one day when Ivy invites Bean into her house to hide. After that they become good friends and got on all sorts of adventures. Maybe Ivy wasn't so boring after all.
