so far as I've read this book is a very good book ALSO I RECOMMEND READING OR EVEN BUYING THE FIRST BOOK!!!!

The next book in the Harry Potter series and just as good as the first one
I LOVED IT!! I'm more of a Hermione person beacuse everyone thinks I'm a braniac
I loved this book because of the basilisk and how harry stabbed the diary to kill tom and he is once again the hero of hogwarts.
I loved the chamber of secrets because of Tom Riddles diary. My favourite part was when harry stabbed the diary and it killed Tom. The basilisk would be really scary if i was there because the basilisk is like a big worm with giant teeth.
This second Harry Potter book is about how Voldemort comes back. Even though he was destroyed in the first book, he comes back. This time he uses one of his seven Horcruxes, a diary, to trick Harry into unleashing the horror of Hogwarts - a Basilisk, that is hidden in the chamber of secrets. However, it was Ginny (Ron's younger sister) who poured her soul into the diary, and therefore was possessed by Tom Riddle (the teenage Voldemort) into unleashing the Basilisk. The Basilisk started petrifying and even killing students, and that is when Harry gets involved. He gets into a battle against Tom Riddle and the basilisk, and in the end, it is Fawkes (Dumbledore's pheonix) who saves Harry by healing him with his tears. Harry drives the basilisk's poisnous fang into the roof of the basilisk's mouth, and that is how Tom Riddle is killed and so is the basilisk, and Harry is once again a hero. This book is also 5-stars.
