I love the Diary of a wimpy kid series. I loved this book too! Itt's about how Greg's mom think he's playing to many video games and makes him go outside and explore. Greg has to make friends with a weird kid who plays with legos, and that ends badly. He also has Halloween coming, and Greg is starting to get freaked out. What will happen in this book? Read it to find out!

Good review I might read it because i've read most of the books in the series (my favorite is Old School) I like the series and your hook is good I might consider reading it.

The pressure's really piling up on Greg Heffley. His mom thinks video games are turning his brain to mush, so she wants her son to put down the controller and explore his “creative side.” As if that's not scary enough, Halloween is just around the corner and the frights are coming at Greg from every angle.

When Greg finds an old video camera in his basement, he thinks he may have discovered just the thing to prove he's got big-time talent. With the help of his best friend, Rowley, Greg hatches a plan to make a scary movie . . . and to become rich and famous in the process. I loved this book!

It’s a really good book.

Nice book

Super good! So, one day Greg actually finds a pretty cool video camera hidden in his own basement! After some thinking, Greg decides that maybe if he films himself doing really cool stuff he can become famous! He has always wanted to be famous and this just maybe his chance! Can Greg and Rowley get something rolling? Or will this turn out to simply be a problem instead? Read this book to find out!

Greg Heffley is perplexed. He has always viewed himself as a special and unique individual, so why doesn't he at least have his own TV show by now? The only price of celebrity would be having to share his fame with his siblings, of course, but Greg is sure he could work something out. Desperate to be the center of attention, Greg decides to make a film with ketchup, a fake skull, a sweatshirt, gummy worms, and one actor. Can Greg pull this reach-for-the-stars goal off? Jeff Kinney's slapstick humor will brighten readers' lives once more with Greg's new adventure.

Greg Heffley is super good at video games, however his mom wants to see the creative side of him. His mom decides he can't play anymore video games for a while. Halloween is also coming up, and Greg gets an idea when he discovers a bag of gummy worms. He calls his best friend Rowley over, and they try to make a movie to become rich and famous. Greg's parents aren't home, so he is safe for now with his plan. But then Rowley is stuck in a tree, and Greg's dad happens to come home at that moment. Now Greg is in big trouble. This book is very funny, and I recommend it to comedy readers, and people who enjoy the other Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, and the Dork Diaries series. I rate it 5/5.
