i think that this book is super amazing and old and yet has very modern parts. i'm not very smart and don't enjoy school but the book report i did on this book was amazing! i agree with atrama if your not reading this you are missing out in life!(: (: (: (: by: Rose Collins fourth grade fort river school
just read and is just as awesome as number one! If you have not tried out this series, you are missing out
This is a story about life in the country. The story is filled with an array of stray animals, everything from dogs to an armadillo. Science and nature are discussed throughout the book, as well. I think anyone who enjoys science or nature will enjoy this story.
If you read the first book you know that Calpurnia is the only girl of seven children. And that she wants to be a scientist. If you haven't read the book I just told you the main parts :) In this book Callie discovers that some people think that just because she is a girl she can't be what she wants to be. Can Callie convince her family that girls can do great things to? I liked this book better than the first one.
