Playing is serious business.
Welcome to Toy Academy: where toys learn to play. This is where action figures train to battle, stuffed animals study the art of the hug, and collectibles practice standing very, very still.
Though Grumbolt isn't really any of those things, he's determined to fit in. But when the Evil Toy Academy threatens to bring down his school, it's up to Grumbolt to go where no good toy has gone before and prove he's truly a great toy after all.
This laugh-out-loud chapter book by Brian Lynch, the writer of Minions and a writer of The Secret Life of Pets, is a classic in the making.

This is a great book for people who love humored books. Although it was a little easy to read, it was very cool and turned normally serious things about toy making to things that are funny too

Have you ever wondered why all toys have the " Made in China " stamp on them? Well what you don't know is that all toys with that stamp come from Commander Hedgehog's Institute for Novelty Academia a place that trains toys how to be the best toys. Then we meet Grumbolt a toy that doesn't know what he is. Grumbolt goes to the academy to learn how to be the best toy and find a perfect human to play with. This is a really cute story for kids. The guy who wrote Minions and the Secret Life of Pets wrote this book fyi.

this book is talking about a doll talking one.it is so funny

Hello, DOGObooks users! First, I would like to thank DOGObooks for choosing me to win this book! And now, let the review begin. It's a really interesting idea! What would toys think if they came alive? How would they learn how to be toys? What happens to the toys that don't look like toys? And what about BAD toys? What happens if one toy steals another toy's arm? Find out all of this, and more, when you read this book!

I love thiS BOOK I HAVE THE FIRST ONE AND ITS AWSOME[EVEN IF I SOLD IT FOR 29$;]

This book begins with a toy named Grumbolt, waking up and finding himself in a trash can. Grumbolt is determined to find a new home, so he enrolled in the Toy Academy, where toys learn to play. While he is there, he learns of an evil scheme where the Evil Toy Academy threatens to bring down his school. Grumbolt feels that it is up to him to stop the plan. This book is really cute. My younger brother really likes this book because the toys and him share a similar urge to play.

Please don't spoil TOO much, thanks!

I thought it was funny when camondor hedgepig took over toy academy and tried to get rid of toys and got defeated because Grumbolt had a big head.

I like this book because Grumbolt and Onimisbus got put on the Christmas tree at the mall and Ominisbus was a grumpy angel on the top of the tree and Grumbolt was a angle orniment.

well it looks ok!!
