I remember this book!!!I loved it and I thought it was a great book for any kid boy or girl to read.It's about a mouse named Despereaux who is not afraid of anything.He is then taken away from his parents, his mother crying and is taken to get an outfit sewn for him to go to the dungeons.I could not put it down.PLease read!!!!!!!!!!
The Tale of Despereanx is a wonderful book. Despereanx is the weirdest mouse I’ve heard of. He is tiny and he has huge ears that make him very cute! He has a lot of bravery. I give this book 5 stars so I would read it!
I love this book! It is about a mouse named Despereaux who is not afraid to have an adventure. He is a non-conformist, unlike all of the other mice. This story is about him trying to make other mice not be afraid. I certainly recommend this book to anybody who likes to read about a great adventure!

This was a great book. Just like other books it's kinda weird and you don't understand it at first. Then in the middle to the end it gets fantastic. I really love and adore the author Kate Dicamillo. I really thank her for writing great books. So far i read Winn dixie by her and this book.
