A timeless tale by the incomparable Kate DiCamillo, complete with stunning full-color plates by Bagram Ibatoulline, honors the enduring power of love.

"Someone will come for you, but first you must open your heart. . . ."

Once, in a house on Egypt Street, there lived a china rabbit named Edward Tulane. The rabbit was very pleased with himself, and for good reason: he was owned by a girl named Abilene, who treated him with the utmost care and adored him completely.

And then, one day, he was lost.

Kate DiCamillo takes us on an extraordinary journey, from the depths of the ocean to the net of a fisherman, from the top of a garbage heap to the fireside of a hoboes' camp, from the bedside of an ailing child to the bustling streets of Memphis. And along the way, we are shown a true miracle — that even a heart of the most breakable kind can learn to love, to lose, and to love again.

The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane is a very well written book. One of my favorite parts of the book is when Edward Tulane is with Sarah Ruth. It was so beautiful when Sarah Ruth was squeezing him with all of her strength and love . This part is very sad and happy at the same time. In my opinion, the darkest part is when Sarah Ruth passes away. Also, I think that this part of the story is the climax, otherwise known as the turning point, or the point of the greatest suspense or action. This book is by far the best book I have ever read. The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane is a very inspiring book.

This book is like a roller coaster with ups and downs throughout the story.. I would recommend this book. Edward is not a thoughtful person at all in the expedition, but changes throughout the story after he meets all these kind people. At the resolution he learns to care and love for people. Edward has ups when he cares and love people. Edward has downs when he does not do that and only cares about himself.Overall, one of the best books I have ever read.

The miraculous journey of Edward Tulane was one of my favorite books I ever read it was extremely happy at sometimes, and at other times it was a really sad story, but I would recommend to read it because Kate DiCamillo is a great author.

I just love this book it is so inspiring. The sad parts just make you grip the book so hard your hands start to hurt. This book is just so inspiring it warms my heart, and it is my idol.

"The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane" is a very inspiring book. It is very sad and happy. The sad parts are what happens to Edward when he goes through all the characters. The happy parts are at the end when Abilene daughter Maggie founds Edward in the doll shop. I cried so many times through this book. This is my favorite book I have ever read. This book has changed my life.

Great book!!! The end is kind of sad, but happy at the same time. Kate DiCimillo Is a fantastic author!! My favorite part of the book is the very end. This book is great for ages 9 and up. This book is happy, sad, It also has a ton of adventure in it to. I recommend this book to anyone that is looking for a great book or just to get a good laugh.

This movie was just like a roller-coaster, with ups and downs and turns. It was such a well written book! It made me want to re-read it so many times! I recommend this book to anyone, it was quite amazing!

This was a great book. My whole class read this together. There is so many secret things that you have to read 2 times to understand. Also, the pictures at the beginning of each chapter are foreshadows of the chapter. That is so cool and amazing.

This book is very well written. I especially love the part when Edward was with bull. My favorite part is when Edward finds Abilene with the watch, at the end. This book has a ton of sadness and happiness. This book takes a while to understand, and get the real meaning of it. Pellagrina really helps Edward throughout the book. It does not look like, it but she really does. This is by far one of my favorite books I have ever read!

I love this novel! It has a lot of detail and it is also a little mysterious. I love how Kate Dicamillo had Edward go threw so many owners and he learned to love threw all of that. He has been threw a lot. I also love how she had Pellegrina seem like an antagonist but all she wants is Edward to love because she can see threw Edwards mind. This book is awesome and if you haven't read it i recommend it.
