Four children have been chosen to compete in a national competition to find the tastiest confection in the country. Who will invent a candy more delicious than the Oozing Crunchorama or the Neon Lightning Chew?

Logan, the Candymaker's son, who can detect the color of chocolate by touch alone?

Miles, the boy who is allergic to merry-go-rounds and the color pink?

Daisy, the cheerful girl who can lift a fifty-pound lump of taffy like it's a feather?

Or Philip, the suit-and-tie wearing boy who's always scribbling in a secret notebook?

This sweet, charming, and cleverly crafted story, told from each contestant's perspective, is filled with mystery, friendship, and juicy revelations.

I really like this book. The funniest part to me is when Miles said he is allergic to the color pink and rowboats.

I think this book is really good because in each different part of the story it talks about their side of the story. As the story goes on all the contestants meet each other in the middle of chocolate room. The story completely changes cause they figure out what Daisy really is. Then they all become really good friends and a character that was really crabby starts to have a good attitude. I really like this book cause all the characters have really different personalities and they all help one character.

If you love candy you will love this book! The Candymakers by Wendy Mass is about four 12 year old contestants who are trying to win a candy making contest at the Life Is Sweet candy factory. You will learn about each contestant's differences. I loved this book!

A bit like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Four contestants are sent to a candy factory to develop a new kind of candy. But when the secret ingredient is stolen, the game changes. Perfect for anyone who liked the Mysterious Benedict Society.

This is really great book about four kids who get chosen to be in a candy making contest to see who can make the tastiest candy. I definitely recommend it!

It is a really great book I totally agree

I enjoyed this book. I really liked how the setting just stayed in one place and not moved to many others, which made it not confusing unlike other books that I've read. By the way, the plot twist, was very unexpected and it was a great addition to the plot. I would recommend this book!

This book was totally awesome and anyone who likes spies and crazy adventures will love this book! Its nothing like the Charlie and The Chocolate Factory story. This story takes a different path and turns into a crazy candy making competition full of spies and twists. Each group of chapters is from a different kids perspective but at the end all of their perspectives were mixed together. I totally loved this book and think other enduring readers will enjoy it as well!

I love how descriptive they were about the candy in this book. Wendy Mass has incorporated a book of adventure, friendship, and mystery. She does this while telling the story from each characters point of view. I recommend this book to kids who like sweets and teamwork.

Four kids are enterting a candy contest. Listening to one kid at a time you get to learn a little about the kids and there problems, life, and candy skills.

I really enjoyed this book, and the ending really surprised me! I love all of Wendy Mass's books and this one was one of my favorites of hers. I also really liked the way it switched the POV.
