Stone fox is a great book! it really messes with your feelings!. I did cry in the end but thats what makes such a good book!

I almost cried at the end :( it's a sad but wonderful book.
I loved the book stone fox. I liked it because of the race and how he won when he really shouldn't have. At first, I hated stone fox, but later on, I realized he was a really generous man. It was really sad when searchlight had died five feet away from winning. Stone Fox let willie cross the finish line and win. I liked when in the middle of the race he saw his grandpa waving through the window when willie didn't know he was okay.
This story is about a boy who went in a sledding race to save his grandpa from dieing and to live in their house.
He's a hero. I love how his grandpa is all he has besides searchlight that died, and he has to support his grandpa and his farm. He saves their life. And in a way, Stone Fox does also.
the book " Stone fox " was about a boy named Willy and he saved his grandfather from dying because of having no money.
It is sooooo sad but so good!

It's so sad when the dog tried so hard to win the race but dies and the man lets them cross the finish line! I felt like crying and my teacher even cried!
I cried! it is a fantastic book. I would love to read it again. It is sad but good. I am hopeing i will havt to do another book report on it. (but im not)

i have read this book and this is mad good its very sad that the dog died but i still liked the book
really sad. I was pretty much crying right in front of my whole class last year when I read it. I always like reading a book over and over again, so I'll probably read it soon.
