Pattie, her family, and a few others are the last to leave Earth just before the great disaster. On the new planet, called Shine, they struggle to survive as supplies dwindle, time runs out, and danger lurks among them. Pattie and her friends explore the planet and discover many interesting things that may prove useful for them. I would recommend this for ages 9+ this book reminds me that a day will come when Earth will not be able to support life, because of us. I am sad of all the polluting and everything. I hope this book can inspire everybody to conserve and save the Earth.

If you like Science Fiction you are going to love this book.
The green book is actually a very good book. My class read it as our read aloud while we studied science fiction. It got most of my classmates hooked and excited to read. The green book leaves you with a lot of questions unanswered. You will asking a new question after every chapter! The book is a very short read but it will hook you like a fish even if you do not like science fiction!
The cover of this book doesn't describe the book very well. It isn't a creepy book. It is about a community that has to leave earth and go to a new planet because of the disaster. They land on a planet called shine. They have to learn survival skills. Will they make it or not? Read it now!
